International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women On 25th November 2024 , Sumaithangi Trust, Perumbakkam , observed the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women with a significant event aimed at spreading awareness and empowering women in the community. The event featured an impressive panel of chief guests and speakers, including Prof. Saraswati, Retired, Pen Urimai Iyakkam; Mrs. Hydwick Rosy , Ex-CCDO, TNUHDB; Dr. Esther Mariaselvam , Associate Director, Action Aid; Dr. K. Key discussions emphasized the importance of women being strong and vocal against any form of violence within their communities.
